Evolution
What is the purpose of my life,
I used to wonder....
searched everywhere for the answer to this question,
read books, asked people...
atlast found a satisfying answer....
to improve myself everday, overcome my limitations...
till i feel PERFECT
continue to evolve everday to make myself
a BETTER me

A possible answer that will work - except that, I think you will never feel perfect...
I think there is no end to this journey.
May be some day I will think of myself as perfect...or may be i will redefine perfection to suit me. But the journey is definitely on!!
I read an interesting quote by Osho - this is not verbatim - 'The very essence of Life is imperfection'. The presence if imperfection is the fitting context for Life to go on changing (evolving). The moment we say things are perfect, there is no more evolution, since the purpose of evolution is lost.
Of course, at a personal front, you may decide you're done with it - but I still find it difficult to conceive how it is possible to live without evolving - it feels like a very painful way to exist :O
